With the support of 180 participants, MIPA was officially launched in March 2021. We hosted a roundtable with some of the leading individuals in the field of MDB/MDO integrity – Mouhamadou Diagne (WB), Samir Fahoum (IADB), Jan Willem van der Kaaij (EIB), Tracy Staines FCA CMIIA (she/her) (Global Fund), and Steve Zimmermann (UNICEF) – who discussed their experience and insight on the unique mission of MDB/MDO integrity units.

Later in the year, MIPA hosted another 4 events to provide MIPA members with opportunities to make new connections through virtual networking, and to develop practical skills thanks to Khaled SABRI (Crowe)’s workshop on forensic accounting for integrity investigators. Finally, we supported MIPA members in their career development through the inspiring career advice of Mamta Kaushal (WB), Laura Profeta (IADB), Alan Sarhan (DLA Piper), and John Versantvoort (ADB), and the sharing of dozens of hiring opportunities.
